This all-inclusive bundle of the PALS student texts provides the PALS student with comprehensive information for the PALS Course.
The Course Guide, which is 8 1/2" x 11" and approximately 100 pages is designed to be used for class preparation and as a
workbook during the course. A student CD, included with the text, contains the precourse self-assessment, practice cases, and
supplemental information to help the student prepare for the course. Also included with the Course Guide are the PALS Precourse
Checklist and PALS Pocket Reference Card.

Shock, and Pharmacology.

for Infants, Children, and Adults; Drugs Used in Pediatric Advanced Life Support; Bradycardia With a Pulse Algorithm; Algorithm
for Pediatric Tachycardia With Pulses and Poor Perfusion; Pulseless Arrest Algorithm; Septic Shock Algorithm; and Postarrest
Treatment of Shock and Maintenance Fluid Requirements. It is a joint project of the American Associationof Critical-Care Nurses
and the AHA.
